PiXel Perfect in Michigan

The PiXel8-RF combines the latest advancements in micro-needling and radio frequency technologies, making it the perfect solution to help restore youthful skin without surgery or downtime. It is a minimally invasive fractional bi-polar radio frequency system that disperses micro-needles deep within the dermis to produce dramatic skin tightening and skin rejuvenation, applicable to almost all areas of the body.

The PiXel8-RF was developed to combat the signs of aging. It is the “newest essential” in the cosmetic industry and the latest radio frequency (RF) micro-needling platform for a non-surgical procedure with a multitude of uses and little to no post-procedural down time.

What skin types can be treated with the PiXel8-RF?

Unlike laser treatments, the PiXel8-RF, is well-suited to ALL skin types. Because it only uses radio frequency energy, there is no risk of thermal damage to the epidermis and the risk of PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) in darker skin types is almost entirely eliminated. Most patients notice that after one treatment, the treated area is smoother and softer.

What skin conditionsdoes the PiXel8-RF treat?

  • Acne scar improvement
  • Skin tightening
  • Wrinkle reduction
  • Double chin reduction
  • Eyebrow lifting
  • Hand rejuvenation
  • Jowl lifting
  • Neck lifting
  • Pore reduction
  • Scar reduction
  • Skin tone and texture improvement
  • Stretch Mark Reduction

Is the PiXel8-RF safe? Is Radio Frequency Micro-needling safe?

Yes; the FDA-approved PiXel8-RF uses minimally invasive needles to apply bipolar radio frequency for non-surgical skin-tightening, safe for all skin types.

During treatment, heat is driven deep within the skin layers to stimulate collagen and cause elastin cells to regenerate, resulting in a firmer, smoother and more consistent skin surface. So, yes, it is safe as long as you choose an experienced provider, such as a board-certified cosmetic surgeon.

The microneedle depth can be adjusted accordingly for each treatment area, especially for delicate areas like under the eyes, the forehead, and the cheek bones.

How long does PiXel8-RF treatment take? How many PiXel8-RF treatments will I need?

Preparing the treatment area requires 30 minutes, the procedure itself requires about 20 minutes. Noticeably obvious results are generally seen after just one procedure, but a three-treatment series of treatments (each about three-weeks apart) is recommended to have you achieve maximum benefits.

Is there downtime after the PiXel8-RF procedure?

One of the more incredible facets of the PiXel8-RF is that patients usually experience minimal to no downtime and have very few restrictions following treatment. The treated area may be red for up to 24 hours.

What should I expect after the PiXel8-RF treatment?

For up to 24 hours after treatment, most patients may experience redness and some minor swelling. Patients can immediately return to most of their routine activities, however as facial make-up and routine skin care is only advisable after the 24 hour period, it is wise to not schedule public meetings, photoshoots, or interviews for a day or two after your treatment.

How long do PiXel8-RF results last?

Results will vary patient to patient. The collagen created will last at least seven years, but the amount of collagen is variable and depends on one’s age, physical health, skin health, smoking habits, age, lifestyle and exposure to elements. A touch up is usually recommended to be done about every 12-18 months.
