The best candidates are men and women in good general health who have sagging facial skin, especially along the jawline and neck, but strong and well-defined bone structure. Good skin elasticity is also important, as this surgery does not change overall skin texture, though procedures like laser resurfacing can be performed at the same time to help improve both your complexion and the tightness of your skin.

After Surgery
Within the days following surgical facelifts, bruising is likely to occur and usually fades within two weeks. Medications are provided to help reduce any discomfort and restrictive dressings are required for at least 24 hours after surgery. Within just a few days you will be permitted to wear makeup to camouflage any bruising. After the recuperation period many of our patients say, “I wish I’d done it sooner."
