Dr. Berkowitz performs an exciting new procedure known as Renuvia™ to help restore lost volume in the face for a more youthful appearance. Renuvia™ is an advanced rejuvenation treatment that uses your own natural fat cells to replenish lost volume, reduce the signs of aging, and soften the facial contours. The face, hands and other parts of the body where volume has diminished can be treated.

Renuvia™ is a simple outpatient treatment which is performed with local anesthesia. During the procedure, Dr. Berkowitz harvests fat from an area of the body where there is excess, such as the thighs or buttocks. He uses the advanced Body-Jet® system. This water-jet technique gently dislodges and harvests the fat, minimizing trauma to the surrounding tissue so there is little bleeding, bruising or swelling. The harvested fat is then re-injected into the targeted treatment area to restore fullness and reduce the signs of aging. Renuvia™ is different from traditional injectable fillers in that it uses the patient's own fat cells. This allows for a safer, more effective treatment with minimal risk of infection.
