About Exilis

Exilis can be used for both facial rejuvenation and body contouring. For facial rejuvenation and anti-aging, this is an ideal treatment for patients in their 40s to 60s who are looking for a non-invasive way to improve wrinkles and sagging skin. Exilis reduces wrinkles, tightens skin, enhances collagen production and restores a smoother, more youthful look to the skin. It is particularly beneficial in treating sagging jowls and wrinkles around the eyes. Exilis can be used for body contouring to help with fat reduction, skin tightening, cellulite reduction and the improvement of skin texture. It can be used on many areas of the body to treat loose or sagging skin, including the abdomen, upper arms and thighs.

Treatment is performed in the office setting at our medical spa outside of Detroit, Michigan. There is no need for a local or topical anesthetic as treatment is essentially pain-free. Patients experience just a deep heating sensation that is very well tolerated and is similar to a very warm massage. Treatment takes an average of twenty minutes to complete and there is no downtime. While some minor redness may be present for one to two hours after treatment, patients are able to immediately return to their normal routine. For optimal results, most patients require an average of four treatments performed every one to two weeks.
