Answer:
There is no way to accurately show a patient what they can look like by use of computer or by using your hands. I would recommend starting with fillers such as Radiesse before having cheek implants if you are looking to see what kind of volume the treatment can give you.

Concerning cheek augmentation surgery can you tell me if there are different varieties of implants to choose from? Is there a particular product that you prefer?
Answer:
The product that I prefer is you. That is, I prefer your own natural tissue. I can utilize the Aqua-Lipo System to harvest your own fat. I use the gentle water of Aqua-Lipo to wash the fat and contour the body and then this pure fat can be used within the cheek area or anywhere else in the face to recreate volume. I believe that this is the golden fountain of youth. It is pure fat that would not be rejected that can last for many, many, years.
Second, many times the volume for the cheek is there, but unfortunately went South, due to gravity, so a cheek lift surgically, or through a facelift can be performed to lift the cheek.
Lastly, implants can be placed either through the eyelid or through the mouth. I like a soft implant from a company called Implantec.
